San Rafael Winery is a family winemaking tradition since the early nineteenth century in the region of Montsant. The current generation Xavi Peñas and his wife Pilar Just have just recovered Masía San Rafael, a building from the late eighteenth century and enlarged in the 50 restored a few years ago for producing high quality wines in the DO Montsant.
The House is in a San Rafael Valley of Pradell Teixeta, surrounded by a rich heritage of dry stone walls and vineyards of their own from which grapes to make the first wine from this The first wine from this winery: SOLPOST.
