Cal Porxo Rural house
The house is located in the centre of the town of Pradell de la Teixeta, within Priorat County.
The house can be easily recognized by it's two grand porches at the main entrance . They were discovered during the rehabilitation of the house and where it takes its name since years ago.
The left porch leads to the main entrance of the house while the right one gives you access to the rural shop, which stocks gastronomic products of Priorat.
The hall, next to the street, leads to the stairs which ascends to the top two floors. We drawn your attention to the recovered master wall, built with local stone.
There is a kitchen, a living room and a dining room on the first floor, it seems a loft. The kitchen is fully equipped, beside it there's the dining room and furthermore the sofas and the TV.
The stairs bring you up to the second floor where the rooms are.

The facade
The facade where the two porches are is built with local stone which is the source of the name of the house .The porch which is on the left leads to the main entrance of the house while the right one gives you access to the country shop. The windows of the two upper floors are also visible from here.

The hall
The hall is a neutral space where bikes and toys can be stored. The stairs, on the left, brings you up to the first floor.

Dining room and living room
The dining room is situated next to the living room. There is a sofa, two chairs and a little table near the TV. It is a open friendly space to relax in after meals and share a good wine from Priorat.
The main table of the living room, situated between the kitchen and the dining room, allows you to have your meals in the company of the family and friends. The house also offers the possibility to have prepared food with local products.

The kitchen
It is fully equipped to prepare any meal. There is a dishwasher, a fridge and kitchen cabinets to store food.
You will find all required ample good quality kitchen equipment, plates, cutlery, drinking glasses. We even provide some special glasses for wine tasting the wines of Priorat and Montsant, the two Denominations of Origin from our County.

The single room
It is on the first floor, with a comfortable bed. The stone walls makes it a very special part of the house . It has its own wardrobe and there is a chair next to the window to enjoy reading.

The bathroom
There is a complete bathroom on the first floor with a large shower. It is just beside the single room and it is the closest bathroom to the living room and the dining room.

Two double rooms
The two double rooms which face the front of the house each have restored double beds. The wardrobes in each room, are big and allowyou to store your personal belongings such as suitcases and clothes.
The natural light comes in through the windows. The direct light can be keep out by the curtains.
There is a bathroom right next to the double rooms.

The bathroom
It is fully equipped with a large shower. The modern accessories perfectly compliment the traditional rustic materials of the floor and the sink.

Hall
There is a hall on the second floor with a restored desk which has drawers and a light.
Two armchairs have been placed there to allow you to relax and read a good book.
